Zardari Gets Endorsment

Whether US President George W Bush has endorsed his own countrymen in the upcoming elections or not, and whether he has got the nerve and capacity to do so is another thing, but he can and has surely done that in Pakistan and he has not only greeted the new president of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari, but he has also assured him the same support which the former president, General (r) Pervez Musharraf enjoyed.

Bush is trying to act all sugar and honey, and say that United States would help Pakistan in every field every time and then he talks about the shifting of the war and the hot pursuit in a very mild way, reminding Zardari of his real duties. Bush says that he would send more and more troops from Iraq to Afghanistan and he says that the mission of these forces will be to work with the Afghan forces to provide security for the Afghan people, protect Afghanistan’s infrastructure and democratic institutions and help ensure access to services like education and health care.

The recent attacks in the FATA area show that how much care, Bush is offering to the people. No life, and then no health care. What a plan. Asif Ali Zardari is surely tied up in the old deal, and after enjoying NRO, now he is the president of this country, and what more he could ask for.
