Zardari for President
When Benazir Bhutto was alive, who could have believed that Asif Ali Zardari would be the next leading figure of the Pakistan People’s Party, and who could have believe that he would get the chance to become the President of Pakistan. Its the slap on the faces of the Pakistanis from Zardari.
Zardari has told the Anne W. Patterson and other American envoys and the emissaries that he intends to become the President of the Pakistan, and for that he needs their support and the means. Zardari has offered himself as the replacement of the Musharraf and has said to Americans that he would anything they would say from war on terror to the economy.
After compromising Aitzaz Ahsan and hijacking the long march of the lawyers, now Zardari is talking about having his own long march, and for that he is given the task to the governor of Punjab, Salman Taseer. That, and now Zardari wants to be in Punjab for a long time to snatch the popularity of the PML-N.
PML-N must retaliate in the Sindh, and now they need to build their roots there. Nawaz Sharif, if he wants to become a national leader must come out of his shell and he must do something drastic. I have a guess that Zardari would be more dangerous to PML-N in presidency than the Musharraf.

It’s better to have Musharraf as president for the next five years than have Zardari as the president.
