Release Dr. Aafia Siddiqui

Zardari and Altaf

Asif Ali Zardari, the co-chairman of Pakistan People’s Party has gone too far with his reconciliation bids. It seems that National Reconciliation Ordinance has ignited him too much excited and now he wants to shower his dripping reconciliation efforts over everyone.

He seems to be blinded by this reconciliation and such attitude that he has also offered this to Manmohan Singh of India. He has also extended his hand towards the Mohajir Qaumi Movement’s Altaf Hussain Bhai, the Pir of London, and has said that they both are brothers.

This is very nice and cozy on the paper, but this is totally ludicrous in practice. Nation cannot forget the terrorism by MQM on 12th May and now on 9th April, and they cannot forget those sufferings. They know that MQM was and is hand in hand with Musharraf during his iron rule during all these years, and they know that MQM is still a B-team of Musharraf.

Asif Ali Zardari may have a friendship with Altaf Hussain in his personal capacity but he is not authorized to do it on behalf of the Pakistani nation or even on the behalf of the workers and leaders of PPP.
