Yousuf Gillani’s Multan Under Intrigue
Prime Minister Makhdoom Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani has told Asif Ali Zardari, the co-chairman of PPP that invisible hands are fully trying to sabotage the peace and harmony in his Multan division to give a bad name to the Pakistan Democratic Alliance (PDA) government.
The incident of Multan Electric Power Corporation in which many people got injured more than fifty were arrested and then tortured by the police and MEPCO officials is one part of that intrigue chain to disrupt the ongoing democratic process.
Other than that another strange incident happened in the Multan city where a women Zareen tried to sell her children in the marketplace. She hang placards of “For Sale” around the necks of her children and then started yelling over the people. She kept this thing going on for a while till the media came, and the whole country then knew that how poor and hapless the people of Multan, the city of premier, are.
Then in the evening it turned out that the lady was hired to act that drama by someone and she was not that hapless and poor and had everything at home which a middle class holds at home.
PDA government should be aware of these intrigues and that should join hands and work together to dispel the intrigues and to put the democracy and progress on track.
