Why do rich people commit suicide?

They have money, houses, cars, a beautiful wife and lovely kids. They can travel anywhere in the world and do whatever they want. They have all the comforts and luxuries of life. So the question then is, why do they commit suicide?

Why do others turn into drug addicts and alcoholics? What are they looking for? Something for the soul? Something to nourish it? Maybe they forgot to listen to music, since according to the West, music is food for the soul.

Money does not nourish the soul. A wonderful house will not do it. Cars, wife, kids, movies, sex, music, vacations, parties, cigarettes, nothing will nourish the soul.

Only the belief that there is no God but Allah, the 5 daily prayers, recitation of the Quran and zikr of Allah nourishes the soul.

@ Tanya: There is nothing mysterious about it. As I have state in my post, it is the nourishment of the soul that makes a person happy. You can also read Momina’s comment, which is impressive and accurate.

In Japan, even the sons of rich people kill themselves if they have failed in exams or have been caught doing something wrong.
