One of the most amazing and perplexed thing in Pakistani politics right now is the rule of America. The America,the real masters of Pakistan and the most formidable and true stakeholders. They have always played a very active role in the Pakistani affairs and this time, when they are in the middle of their war on terror, and have given the lollipop of favorite ally in the war on terror to Pakistan, they are more than interested in affairs in this part of the world.

Just look at the streams of US officials both from Republican and Democrat side, and look at the messages pouring in from the American media, and you would really think that you are something because you live in Pakistan. What America want from Pakistan now exactly?

Its not that they have some love lost with the Pervez Musharraf, they are just after their interests. Their hawkish eyes are on the rising China, and they are still afraid of their previous enemy Russia. Pakistan is just a pawn in this game. Oh yes, and there is Iran too, and one more reason is that India is cultivating India as the adversary of China in this volatile region.

The new rulers don’t have the guts to say No to America, but like Musharraf they shouldn’t be selling themselves cheap for peanuts.
