What if American forces attack us?

Had somebody told Iraqis even in late 80’s that America would attack them, they would have ridiculed him at great lengths. Had somebody even merely mentioned to Afghans in 90’s that after Russia, US will attack their country, they would have considered him crazy. If somebody tells us Pakistanis today that America will attack us in future, what will we do?

I presume that most Pakistanis will not laugh, instead they will nod their heads gravely. So what will happen if America attacks Pakistan? What would everyone do? Here is my opinion,

  • The hypocrites in armed forces, politicians, industrialists, technocrats, clergy, bearucrats and landlords will leave the country in no time.
  • Rest of the country will be charged up in no time, because they already knew that this would happen sooner or latter.
  • Army will make it clear to world that we haven’t acquired the nuclear and missile capability merely for display or vanity.
  • Politicians will mobilise and organise the populace very rapidly within hours of knowing them that America intends to attack.
  • Almost all people of country will volunteer for the war
  • The terrain of Pakistan so diverse and difficult that US armies will prefer to remain in air and in Arabian sea. Pakistani missiles with nuclear warheads can reach their very easily and don’t forget our friends in gulf. India will think umpteenth time before hitting us. Their all cities are marked with precision by us, rest assured.
  • Very Very few factions from within country (almost no one, contrary to Afghanistan and Iraq) will join hands with US forces in attacking Pakistan.
  • China and Iran will surely be on our side, overtly or covertly.
  • Afghanistan is already playing in hands of America.
  • India will gleefully aid American in attacking us.

Pakistanis have a history to forget their divisions in time of disasters. The war of 1965 and current earthquake are the clear manifests of it. Pakistanis love peace and hate terrorism. We wont allow terrorism either from so-called Al-qaida or US. We will die instead of becoming conquered by foreign troops, but before dying we will make an unprecedented example of aggressors. We will not wage war on anyone, but we will defend our ideology and country with every drop of our blood.

Peace!!!!

Referring to what can we do if America attacks pakistan. What do we have to resist america or any other country from attacking pakistan, we have only one hope which is our neuclear weapon but trust me you need guts to use those nuclear weapon and none of the pakistanis have those guts. It is 100% confirmed that America will attack pakistan well they already have, funny thing is that we still think that China and Iran will help Pakistan, when the time will come none of the countries will help Pakistan. Infact people of Pakistan will be sitting in their houses watchin hollywood and bollywood movies. I am saying this as it proved in the history otherwise no one had guts to overcome subcontinents it was muslims who betrayed their King and their country. Just watch on youtube
“http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BE-OAFZ84q8&feature=related” and see yourself how secure pakistan is.

    Dorood-o-Selom, dostum….

I agree with u 1000%. The environment of mistrust and mutually-shared miscomprehension for one-another is a cause for these clashes.

I believe in the alliance of civilizations, i dont believe in clash of civilizations. I have been raised to live & let live. War and animosity are horrible things.

But this side of the world has always been unstable. Its a resource-rich and culturally-rich area. We should build on that.

I believe in nation-building and alliance-building. The biggest enemy to humanity is ignorance, poverty and voicelessness.

I very small portion of the world supports zionism. Except, that portion has the cash, media and influence. If we unite, we can crush this phenonmenon called zionism.

Orthodox judaism sees zionism as a racist, intolerant and ill-legitimate nationalist movement based on no moral or legal grounds. Zionism is terrorism

but we can discuss that another time.

You are Iranian. You are our neighbour. Lets work together, We have pipeline deal, and new Istanbul-Tehran-Islamabad Railways project. Lets keep expanding our economic ties and cultural exchange.

    Khoda Hafiz.

I am supporter of region cooperation because for long we depend on western power. Our fighting is giving them business. Misleading western reports and propaganda is used to start suspicion between contries. Let us not quote them selectively and be manipulated by them. Iran has many problems huge problems it is not that we agree to everything our leaders say or do and some thing here are unnatural to our ancient culture but you people think of Iran you can choose what perspective you want depending on you like Iran or not. Same is true of any country like India and Pakistan, it depends what perspective you choose to build your friendship on. We dont hate jew we hate zionism. You wil be surprised that Iranian dont even hate American people but just policy of their leaders and we dont see them as permanent enemy. They also hate us because of many misunderstanding and some thing which we have done. I cant claim that Iran behaved like ideal. It is always two way isnt it? My idea was to offer constructive critic which is needed for improvement. You are knowledgeble and against Taliban but I hope others in Pakistan as other writer gets realistic and open minded. Every country has good and bad policies and counter views which is good as long as majority is sensible and introspective. This debate somehow became a debate about foreign policy of Iran.

Thank you for good debate. Khoda Hafez.

the indian are stalling/abandoning the IPI ‘friendship’ pipeline we had been planning for YEARS!!!! Thank God it will still go ahead.

i never have done business with indian, and i’m damn proud of that fact. Our external trade with india is currently valued at around 800 million-1 billion dollars. Mostly informal sector related things.

I used to be a huge proponent (back in 2007) for indian to invest in our pharmaceutical industry. But now im glad they didnt!!!

India hub of counterfeit drugs: EC

Excerpt — between 5% and 20% of the medicines sold in the country are fake. The figure should be easier to pin down soon, after a six-month government study that will involve undercover investigators picking up 31,000 drug samples around the country.

In this era of multinational pharma, the problem is global. The OECD says 75% of fake drugs around the world have origins in India, the Times says.

att:Hormazd, we can’t do business with India without suffering losses. In 1997-98, we offered to sell surplus electricity to India (which was costing us $0.065 per unit). India said it would pay us only $0.02 per unit. Similarly, if you go to Bangladesh, Sri Lanka or Nepal, you will find only hatred for India. Indian traders are not reliable, and Indian goods exported to neighbouring countries are inferior. The bottom line is: you can’t trust the Indians!
