Welcoming Peace
People of Swat are welcoming the peace accords in the Malakand agency. Aerial firing, sweets distribution and hugging is a common sight in the Malakand agency and in the adjoining regions. People are relieved and they are happy. Thousands of people are internally displaced and they want to go back to their homes.
The North West Frontier Province (NWFP) government and Tahrik-e-Nifaz Shariat Muhammadi, after finalization of an accord for the enforcement of Nizam-e-Adal in Malakand, have inked a Nizam-e-Adal accord at the end of the Jirga. It’s the demand of the people of Swat and it’s a welcome thing.
Dictator Musharraf, the old rat has once again spoken his inner evil. He has made numerous taunts on the NWFP government that they have been sold to the militants and they are fearing the terrorism and blah blah blah. The truth is that the ANP government has done the most appropriate thing and it was the need of hour, otherwise the damage is huge.
Musharraf is the criminal of the nation and should be tried.

I seriously doubt that there will be peace after the agreement, unless the militants are flushed out of the region.
