Welcome the New System
Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, Raja Zafarul Haq, Javed Hashmi, Ahsan Iqbal, Interior Adviser Rehman Malik and Federal Information Minister Sherry Rehman all facilitated each other on the victory of democracy and that exquisite spectacle happened when the PML(N) chief Mian Nawaz Sharif reached out to meet Zardari to facilitate him on his election as the new president of Pakistan.
PML-N chief felicitated Asif Ali Zardari for becoming the president of Pakistan and assured him of full cooperation as opposition. The PML-N said it would play constructive role for promoting democratic norms as opposition. And now it’s time that the PPP co-chairman , his cronies and the party as a whole return the gesture.
They should as a first step, step down from the treasury benches from the Punjab Assembly and take off the venomous creeps like Salman Taseer, who are hell bent on destabilizing the system. Zardari should also consider now reinstating the chief justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhary, and he should also encourage stability and transparency in the system.
The all should welcome the new system with open hearts and new resolve.
