Violent Political Scene

12th May, 27th December, and 9th April and many other dates in the recent years mark the violent political approach in our political horizon. Former minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Sher Afgan Niazi has been beaten and abused outside the hotel where he went to meet his lawyer Malik Noor Mohammad. Same sort of situation occurred with the former chief minister Dr. Arbab Ghulam Rahim in the corridors of Sindh Assembly.

After that it seems that all hell has broke loose in the Karachi and other cities of Pakistan. As usual the worst affectee was the city of Karachi, where MQM engineered the violence on a short notice. They have achieved a unique expertise in starting riots at eye’s blink and that’s what has happened in all the dates mentioned above.

Why all this thing is happening? The simple reason is that the mandate of nation has been denied and the promised change is not being delivered to the people of Pakistan. Only if President Musharraf take pity on this nation and quit, then everything would be alright.
