Release Dr. Aafia Siddiqui

Truth Moment

Sometimes, some point strike the chord at once, and the truth needs not to be explained in many words with verbose idioms and with heavy statements dripping with unctuous and dazzling innuendos. Former judge of the Supreme Court Justice (retd) Wajihuddin Ahmad has observed that the government is not sincere to reinstate the deposed judges and the nation will have to do this work.

Now that’s a truth, and there is no doubt about that. With the National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) tucked safely in his pocket, Asif Ali Zardari, according to Mumtaz Bhutto is now wiping out the bank accounts of Benazir Bhutto and he is all set to bolt with the looted money and he knows that he is last time here in Pakistan to rule and so he is enjoying his time out there.

That, and he doesn’t give a hoot about the deposed judges and their reinstatement. The government of Pakistan People’s Party is just a farce and they are tied up with a deal and they don’t and can’t intend to deviate from it. The princes and princesses of the PPP are way too busy to enjoy their booty then to worry about the justice and judges.

PML-N also doesn’t need to tag along with the sinking ship of PPP, and it’s time they take their own ways.
