Treatment of Innocent Little Children in Schools
Pinched mercilessly, ears pulled violently, slapped on the face, beaten with rulers, beaten with sticks, beaten with canes, made to cry, made to bleed, made to die… All this happens to innocent little children in schools. If this is not enough, teachers also love to humiliate children. From making them stand on chairs and tables with their hands up to making them become a ‘murgha’ in front of whole class, a child’s self-esteem is shattered to pieces.
There are also those teachers who take children with them to every class, and make them stand in a corner, telling all classes that these children are under punishment. These teachers then return to the original class of these children and narrate the humiliation to their classmates with joy. What do you think these kinds of horrible physical punishments and humiliation that would make stones cry does to the delicate mind of a little child?
There was a case where a teacher forced a child to stretch his palm out and ordered everyone in class to spit on his hand. He then forced the child to lick the spit. There was another case, just recently, where a child suffered from permanent hearing damage after getting slapped by a teacher. Another student, Aakriti Bhatia, died to to an asthma attack because school authorities did not call an ambulance, for reasons only known to them. Then there was the case of a girl who died after being made to stand under the boiling sun with bricks on her shoulders.
People keep repeating that education is necessary to eradicate poverty. Education where I ask? In places where psychos are sitting, waiting to destroy a child mentally and physically. In places where children are murdered. There are countless stories of indescribable abuse and new ones keep surfacing. Will there ever be an end to this?

Salam,
Children are abused all over the world in all schools. they are the means through which the teachers give vent to their anger, frustration and other personal problems.
And children are an easy target because usually they dont report the matter to their elders fearing that maybe they have really done something wrong and all is their fault.
Physical harm can be cured but mental torture stays with the person forever.
very rarely do we see a teacher who truly deserves their post. It is truly a sad situation.

Children are not abused all over the world in schools. It only happens in developing countries. It is true that there are some teachers in the West with a big mouth, but no one is beaten and humiliated in the manner done in countries like India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

Just add to my comment.
a person’s country’s development is not the reason for brutality…US…the most developed country, eh?
just check the statistics for the crime rate and gazillion abuses…
anyway….

Thank you for stating your opinions, but you have not backed them up with anything. Are the crime rates and gazillion abuses carried out by teachers? Is it not illegal for teachers to beat students in the West? Please correct me if I’m wrong.

Salam,
You are right that it is illegal for teachers in West (actually not only West but also in many other parts of the world. As far as I know even in many Middle Eastern countries. Remind me to ask innocent Mr. Lakhani to ask the Arabs in his acquaintanceship…) to abuse students.
But it happens there and actually a tad if not a lot worse than in developing countries.
By abuse let me clarify here that I just do not mean beating…various kinds of abuse. I have been collecting material for this topic to add on my personal blog…so I will just mention some websites that will give everyone an insight.

this one is about abuse happening all around the world.

And take my word in this case because I personally know people who have been mentally tortured, who are studying in the West…usually these are cases of racial prejudice…

I don’t know how a few cases of abuse in the West compare with the beatings and humiliation that hundreds of thousands of childeren go through daily in Asia.
