Top TNSM Leaders Killed In Alleged Militant Ambush
Spokesman of Tehrik-e-Nifaz-Shariate-Mohammadi (TNSM) Ameer Izzat and senior leader Muhammad Alam Khan, Sufi Muhammad’s deputy, were killed when militants ambushed the security convoy transporting them to prison, DAWN reports, quoting ISPR.
‘The convoy was attacked by an improvised explosive device (IED) followed by firing by terrorists at 5:10 am at Sakhakot,’ the ISPR statement said.
One non-commissioned officer embraced shahadat (martyrdom) while five others were injured.
A day earlier, the ISPR confirmed that three leaders of TNSM, Central Shura Member Maulana Said Wahab, Spokesman Ameer Izzat and Deputy Ameer Maulana Alam, had been arrested in a raid at their headquarters in the Bilal Masjid on Mingora Batkhela Road, in the Amandara village of Malakand Agency.
There were unconfirmed reports that Maulana Sufi Muhammad along with sons Rizwanullah and Ziaullah have also been arrested, however Rehman Malik denied it later on.
It is incomprehensible why such high value targets were not escorted with maximum security? or transported through helicopters rather than roads that pass through insecure terrain.
ANP spokesman Zahid Hussain believes that the killing of TNSM leaders is a conspiracy against government and armed forces.

“ANP spokesman Zahid Hussain believes that the killing of TNSM leaders is a conspiracy against government and armed forces.”
What kind of controversial statement is it? ANP was the one who signed the agreement with these ‘kafirs’ who were cutting the throats of innocent people in SWAT, and today have the courage to come around with a irresponsible statement. ANP leadership should understand that these ‘foreigners” were after their throats first.
