The Right Age for Girl Marriage
Today I am going to put a question! What is the right age of a girl’s marriage?
Like in our society, there is the joint family system where normally the girls have to mould themselves according to the customs of the new family. The right age suggested for this is just in teens. This is the time when the mind has not matured enough to think on ones own ways. Marriages of this age are seen successful.
I also study in university and have found great changes to my thoughts after being there for the last two years. The environment has really changed the way I used to think. I now have firm beliefs and remain steadfast at my decisions. I really think it would be difficult to change my opinions.
So I suggest teen age fit for marriage…

“Mind has not matured”? WTF? What is your age, boy? I mean, a girl at the age of 18 or 17 is going through pubic trauma, periods, and lots of other changes that she cannot understand, emotional too. Sending her off to an un-known house where she is complete outsider would benefit her personal situation? Would it be wise? She wouldn’t have cleared any high school diploma, forget University, the next day she gets thrown out of her house where will she go? Where will she earn from? I mean think a little before posting crap about your fantasies and how ‘young’ a girl you would like to meat! :s And wow, son, you haven’t seen shit, sophomore is no age to start making up your mind about ‘life’, just you enter the world outside, you will know.

@ Phil: You may disagree with what ever you find contrary to your views, but you must not and I repeat you must not insult anyone by saying “crap about your fantasies”.
And I have entered the world, seen the things, been there, and beleive it or not that the ideal thing for a girl is to get married earlier and then pursue her studies or job or whatever career she likes. And this is so true in Pakistani society.
Take it or not, any un-married girl outside from her home is taken for granted and she suffers a lot. Marriage doenst guarantee her the ultimate security but it surely gives her lot of confidence and sense of security.

@ Phil: Well that is the truth and the fact that we are denying but this is just according to the Islamic religion. The frustration in girls is because of the late marriages. It is the man who has got all power of decisions of his family. So why should we let the girls’ mind think about decisions independently. And I am not a boy… I have expressed what I have thought, felt and experienced for years and this is the make of our society and culture.
I also have difference of opinion at many things but the way you expressed is not right. Do think over it!

I dont know what you mean by frustration, but I will certianly take it as sexual frustration. For sexual frustration too, Islam and Islamic teachings have ways of dealing with. Read up on it.
Shad Tina you also said;

I am so appaulled by this comment. You being a woman, would know better that more than 50 of Pakistan is female, they run houses, they bear children and give birth, they have economic independance in Islam, they are only answerable to their husbands, they are the core of the family in more ways than one. Your comments seems like a mysoginistic one, which narrates some underlying predejuice against women/girls thinking on their own. And why not, as I said eariler, education, and that too a complete one is everyone’s right, it should be firstly taken care of by the parents, and if married, should be taken care of by the husband. A person is not only bound to thier family, they have alot of responisbilities in the society too, so their education and knowledge is not restricted to one’s self. The entire community benefits.
