The effect of Black Magic
First of all, no one should get confused with destiny and free will. Allah hasn’t willed harm to come to anyone. Allah knew magic was going to be worked on someone, and He let it pass. If He wanted to, He could have stopped it, but remember He is testing the human being and the magician too.
A person will receive great compensation for his/her pain but no one should ever think that Allah chose for magic to affect someone. This isn’t His way.
Magic is nothing to fear. It is pathetic and weak and the power of belief is one of the greatest weapons against it. It is your will power that can best fight it off. The Qur’an helps you to be more spiritual and give you a stronger will-power. Allah will also help so long as you ask of Him.
People who have not had this done on them always say “oh recite this surah or that surah and the magic will break” but I don’t think its that simple. Yes we must turn to the surahs in the Quran and help ourselves but you also need someone experienced in this field to help you get rid of its effects.
First of all you have to find a person who knows how to break the effects of the magic done on you. This person can’t be anyone other then a religious, qualified, experienced, and an Allah fearing amil. The amil should be a strict adherent of Shari’ah and Sunnah. He will then help you get rid of this evil done on you. They will do it for free.
If you cannot find such an amil then in the meantime there are 3 things to do.
- Recite ayatul kursi as much as possible and blow on yourself 3 times.
- Recite surah falaq and nas as many times as possible and blow on yourself 3 times. (Last 2 surahs of the quran.)
- Recite the kalimah as much as possible and blow on yourself 3 times.
A Jew by the name of Labid did black magic on Rasulullah (saw). He took the hair of Rasulullah and made eleven knots into a date and placed in under a rock in the well called Zarwan. The effect of this was that it created uncertainty in the mind of Rasulullah as to whether he had or had not done certain things. At times Rasulullah felt he had accomplished something yet he had not and vice versa. Jibrael informed Rasulullah as to what had occurred and brought the above mentioned two surahs. As each ayah was recited, the knots untied miraculously.
Black magic is a disease which affects you according to the condition of the soul. Just like a disease will affect you according to the condition of your immune system. A weak soul increases the damage of black magic. Please stay away from sins as much as you can and pray 5 times a day. Read the Quran and do zikr of Allah. Try to adopt an islamic lifestyle. This will strengthen the soul immensely.
While going to an amil a person has to exercise common sense. If some maulana gives you something to burn, come next week, gives some dum, some next week, more papers to burn come next week…..In the meantime your life is passing you by and you are not getting any better. They keep you going round in circles, burn this taweez, drink this water. Come back to me when the course is finished and ill give some more taweez. Or if some ‘amil’ is charging you 10,000 Rs per trip then you know you are dealing with an imposter.
To finish, a word about those who practice black magic. People who practice black magic end up with various infections in the body, a constant restlessness and a fear of everything. They become kafir and will burn in hell till eternity. The people who go to these magicians to harm others also lose their eman and become kafir. They will also burn in hell till eternity.

Assalamu alaikum,
“Those that go to magicians become kafir”
In the general awaam many think that going to a magician and asking them to perform magic is a major sin but not everyone knows that it makes them kafir. They may hold the opinion that they are nit performing the amal and therefore they are not kafir. This point was correctly highlighted

To harm other people out of jealousy people are willing to go to the extent of selling their eman and becoming kafir.
The life of this world is very short. Everything that a person desires will be granted in heaven. This life is a test. A person who gets jealous indirectly questions Allah.
