Teacher in India kills student with duster
An innocent 10 year year old girl named Babli Ghosh died in Bengal this past Thursday, after a teacher threw a heavy wooden duster at her with full force. The girl was sitting in the front row and the duster hit her right on the forehead. The girl vomited and fainted. She was then taken to a hospital where doctors declared her dead, stating she died 2 hours ago.
Can anyone imagine what her parents must have gone through after being informed of their daughter’s death. Can anyone think how many tears of blood they must have shed. What must the mother have gone through after seeing her daughter’s dead body?
Teachers are handed innocent little children so that children can be loved and taken care of, but instead, children are beaten and humiliated so savagely, it is difficult putting it in words. When children are not being beaten and humiliated, they are murdered.

School authorities should ensure that only psychologically fit teachers are appointed. But in India this is very difficult, as the government prefers to spend much more on acquiring fighter planes and weapons than on health and education, although 836 million Indians live on only US$ 0.40 per day.

Salam,
I wonder how do these people lead a peaceful life after committing such heinous crimes?

@ Yusha: “By the way, India’s population is well over a billion”. I never said it wasn’t. Out of the billion plus Indians, 836 million (83.6%) subsist on twenty rupees a day.
