Tanzeem Naqvi resigned from KESC
In the wake of worst power crisis in Pakistan, Tanzeem Naqvi, Executive Director Distribution and Billing of Karachi Electric Supply Corporation (KESC) has resigned.
According to news report, Naqvi in his resignation stated he is resigning because of personal reasons. His resignation has been accepted.
In June 2008 KESC’s controlling shares were acquired by Abraaj Capital, a Dubai-based investment firm. However, management and administrative control is not transferred to new buyer yet. As KESC’s MD General (retd) Amjad is on long leave, resignation of Tanzeem Naqvi will further deepen the administrative crisis.
