These are very grave and alarming times for the whole world and especially for the developing countries like Pakistan. The so-called trickle down effect of globalization are now dawning over the whole world except the power like US and UK and the oil rich countries across the globe.

Every sort of shortage is here. Food is not available and power is not here. Gas is out of reach and the water is scarce. Other natural resources are deteriorating, and the economy is about the burst at the seams and then it will dissolve.

This is the time where leaders come handy. They should, in these testing times, must emphasized upon the people of their respective countries to join hands and adopt holistic approach to meet internal and external challenges controlling the developing world right now.

In these times, there is dire need that some honest and concerted efforts to mobilise all the all available resources resting with the developing countries for the promotion of applied sciences and technology, because they are essential for the survival.

Crisis faced by the developing world are immense, and these are not the times to fight at the petty issues. These are the times when the people must join forces and collectively surge forward to tackle with the shortages.
