Sheikh Rashid Flees to Spain

Sheikh Rashid Ahmed
Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, main leader of now crushed PML-Q and staunch supporter of President Pervez Musharrarf, has apparently escaped to Spain.

According to the news, “Farzand-e-Rawalpindi” first booked a flight to Dubai from Islamabad but later canceled it as the news was leaked in media. He then scheduled a flight to Spain via Karachi and left the country silently.

Sheikh Rashid has always taunted Nawaz Sharif and his family members when they left the country after doing a deal with Musharraf. Sheikh was always of the opinion that leaders should not leave their supporters and should face crisis. Now, it seems that he has realized that his supporters have disowned him so he thought it better to escape rather than face the wrath of public.

Sheikh Rashid Ahmed contested on two National Assembly seats, at his home town Rawalpindi, and was brutally defeated, as follows:

NA-55 Rawalpindi-VI
Registered Voters: 254943

Makhdoom Javed Hashmi PML-N 76,980 votes
Malik Amir Fida Paracha PPPP 37,186 votes
Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed PML-Q 30,993 votes

NA-56 Rawalpindi-VII
Registered Voters: 231962

Mohommad Hanif Abbasi PML-N 73,433 votes
Sardar Shaukat Hayyat Khan Advocate PPPP 22,720 votes
Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed PML-Q 10,964 voates

Update: While talking with GEO, Sheikh Rashid categorically denied that he has escaped from the country. He said he will be addressing a press conference shortly to present his stance on the situation.

ITS ALL A BIG LIE HE DID NOT FLEE TO SPAIN BECAUSE HE IS MORE OF A MAN THAN THAT HE WAS IN PAKISTAN AS HE HAS ADECLARED MANY TIMES. THESE ACUSATIONS ARE JUST SILLY RUMOURS,
MR. RASHID DID NOT LEAVE NAWAAZ SHEEF’S PARTY, THEY LEFT HIM, HE HAS SAID THIS INFRONT OF MILLIONS IN AN INTERVIEW THAT EVEN MR. NAWAZ SHAREEF MUST HAVE HEARD.
AFTER ALL IN THIS WORLD EVERUONE IS FOR THEMSELVES, SO WHY CANT MR. RASHID LEAVE THE PARTY FOR HIS OWN GOOD. NAWAAZ’S PARTY IS CURRUPT ANYWAY.
