Sheikh Rashid Blocked Again
President of Supreme Court Bar Association Aitzaz Ahsan will be a joint candidate in the by-election from Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz and Pakistan People’s Party from NA-55, the constituency from where Javed Hashmi of PML-N disgustingly brushed away Sheikh Rashid Ahmad.
Sheikh Rashid Ahmad is considered to be the mastermind of PML-Q, and he is considered to be very closed to the President Musharraf. He has been winning from the Rawalpindi from ages on the ticket of PML-N, but he always considered him to the replacement of the Nawaz Sharif and he remained connected with GHQ all the time. He thought that the vote bank he enjoyed in Rawalpindi was his own and had nothing to do with the Nawaz Sharif.
His eyes opened big time when his deposit was not returned to him on 18th February when he hardly managed to gain any votes from both constituencies in Rawalpindi. He hoped that he would make a come back in the by-elections, but now as a master stroke Nawaz Sharif has blocked his way from NA-55 once again.
