Some people start thinking about their google ranking even before they have deployed their website. People tend to get frantic in order to implement complex and esoteric search engine optimization techniques. They submit their sites to thousands of directories, to search engines, leave their address in as many places as they can. They adopt techniques like link baiting and link alluring and things like that, just to attract traffic.

But when the traffic arrives, it leaves as soon as it reaches to never to come back. In this e-era of social networking, a disgusted visitor can devastate your site’s chances of becoming a traffic-hog. Content is the king. No search engine optimization and traffic-increasing elixir can do what your content can do. Let the good and useful content appearing on your site and the traffic will build up naturally.
