Release Dr. Aafia Siddiqui

Real King Maker

Asif Ali Zardari, the co-chairman of Pakistan People’s Party has got another chance to get back his esteem and confidence. The nation is still ready to forgive and forget his National Ordinance for Reconciliation, only if he plays his active role in getting rid of the President General (r) Pervez Musharraf.

Musharraf has to go, and that is for sure. There is no doubt that fact. Zardari may break or make his political fortune (he has already made his financial fortune for life), by joining hands with the PML-N. It would do a world of good for the future prospects of PPP, which are quite dim right now.

Nawaz Sharif and Asif Ali Zardari have met in Islamabad for the good fortune of democracy and luckily they have agreed upon all the issues, except the contentious bone of restoration of Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhary. Zardari shouldnt be so dumb, and he should sense the aspiration of the nation.

He woundnt loose anything by restoring deposed chief justice Iftikhar, rather he would get unprecedented applause and support of the lawyers, and he would be a real king maker then.
