PTA Crackdown on Cellular Networks and Internet as Long March draws close

Following the footpaths of his predecessor, Dictator Zardari and his goons are using state resources and administrative muscle to stop the Long March.

After confiscating heavy vehicles and containers across Pakistan and lining them up on the roads of Islamabad, messing with TV channels and imposing section 144 to curb free movement, Zardari mafia is now put a curb on the wire.

According to a report, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has all cellular companies to lower their cell sites’ capacity to decrease number of simultaneous connections at a time. This curb will be implemented in twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad, especially F5, F6, F7, F8, G6, G8, G9, G10 and Aabpara.

In Karachi, reports are coming about disruption in Internet services of Mobilink Infinity and cellular services of Ufone. Mobilink Infinity users had CPE unsync issues since Saturday morning and complained that the support numbers were busy throughout the day.
