Protocol for Punjab Chief Minister
The stopgap Prime Minister for Punjab Mr. Dost Mohammad Khosa is trying to enjoy his few days in the sun. He knows that he is there for couple of months and even in this period Mian Mohammad Shahbaz Sharif is pulling the strings and giving the orders.
It’s actually Shahbaz Sharif who is directly giving orders to the police and bureaucracy, and it’s Shahbaz Sharif who is devising policies and directing and appointing different ministers and advisers, and all the postings are being done on the orders of Shahbaz Sharif, and young Khosa has no objection, as he knows and understands the deal.
But Dost Mohammad Khosa must not become a trouble and nuisance for the people of Lahore. He has started visiting the shrines of different religious figures and have started raids on police stations with full blow protocol.
The raids are good thing but this protocol has jammed the Lahore, and people are recalling the era of Pervaiz Elahi. Shahbaz Sharif would do well to restrict the new enthusiastic CM to CM house or to ask him to take it easy.

The Chief Minister,
Goverment of Punjab
Dear Sir,
My two sons Syed Ihsan Ahmad & Syed Hasan Ahmad studied at Punjab Medical College Faisalabad in MBBS 3rd year up till the 4th of June when they were expelled from the college on account of religious discrimination.
Religious discrimination against Ahmadi students at PMC had started very early this year. The Principal, staff and students were equally involved in spreading hatred in the class rooms and hostels through posters, stickers and speeches. All this trouble was created by activists of Islami Jamiat Talaba. They even called maulvies from outside who held gatherings in the hostel mosque.
On the 4th of June in the middle of night, the boys were dragged out of the rooms were beaten and harassed and hostel property damaged. The Principal, warden and hostel authorities remained completely unaware during this time. The next day the IJT activists took out a protest rally and threatened to burn down the college building. The principal without hearing the Ahmadi students hastily ordered expulsion of all the 23 students. The attitude of the principal Mr.Randhawa was very hostile and he still refuses to listen to our telephone calls. Dr.Lubna Randhawa, the principal’s wife and some other teachers have also shown their hatred and grudge against Ahmadi students a number of times.
This kind of atmosphere in our educational institutions leads to downfall of educational standards and brings a bad name to the govenment. It looks as if the authorities at PMC are up to disgracing your elected government.
This matter which has been dragged on by PMC and Health Depatment for 3 months has resulted in disgrace to the name of the college and the government. Internationally, it has been given wide coverage by the print and electronic media and severely condemned by Human Rights. It is also learnt that the United Nations and Royal Colleges in the UK and many governments have also taken strong notice of this incident.
I have learnt that the Health Department has advised that my sons should be migrated to QMC Bahawalpur and SZMC Rahim Yaar Khan. I wish to inform you that religious discrimination is much more rampant at these colleges than at PMC and this migration could lead to much more problems. Recently an Ahmadi professor was appointed as the principal of SZMC. This move was strongly opposed for no reason other than religious hatred. Secondly, QMC and SZMC stand at seventh or eighth position in merit ratings while PMC stands at third or fourth. If the boys are migrated to these colleges it will be highly unjust and it would amount to further discrimination. Migration to these Medical Colleges was already an option open to us after getting a substantial amount running in lacs of rupees through the process of mutual migration as per rules.
Therefore, I would humbly request you to reconsider this decision and adjust my boys in any of the Medical Colleges at Lahore namely, KEMU and AIMC. Lahore being our hometown it would save alot of botheration and undue expenses.
Sir, more than three months of studies are lost. Final exams of 3rd year MBBS are being held in November 2008. Kindly give a most symapathetic and urgent consideration to this issue.
May Allah Bless You!
