Media machines of west and some of the eastern countries are doing nothing but to defame Islam across the world. They are portraying a very false image of Islam with every effort they could muster. There is continuous besmirch campaign against Islam, claiming that it is a religion that promotes violence and hinting that it seeks world conquest.

This denigration of Islam is going on for quite some time and its very highly organized. Channels like CNN, BBC, FOX, Star and many others are churning out lots of malarkey against Islam. The people who come to talk about Islam on these channels aren’t aware of Islam, they have just read the biased summaries of Islam, and they consider themselves expert. Such people have their vested interests and they are there to please their western masters.

One of the defamation technique they use is to criticize “Jihad. The funny thing is that they dont even know what does exactly this term means. The word “jihad,” which is so over-used these days, has, like a lot of words, more than one meaning. It means basically to struggle, but this can be personal or spiritual, or a peaceful political struggle. Only if Islam is attacked are Muslims required to defend it. The ignorant so-called experts equate Jihad with terrorism. They are even going one step further and have coined new term “Islamo-fascist. Now if you browse through the history, you would come to know that the fascism was invented by Europeans, which were Christians.

A deliberately misleading fabrication of the mis-guided western media is that Islam is all about forced conversions. Its a daylight lie. Even in the early days of Islam, when the Arabs were spreading in the world, there wasn’t even a single authentic example of forced conversion. Quran forbids it.

Its highly condemnable to relate Islam with terrorism. Its simply is not true. There is nothing like Holocaust in the Islamic history and who performed the nadir Holocaust? and if some Muslims have gone radical and have adopted the way of violence, then it doesn’t mean that Islam is all about violence.
