President of Pakistan Asif Zardari is a citizen of United States?
Today’s Jang and the News published that President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari holds American nationality as claimed by a well-known US website NNDB (Notable Names Database). The websites contains over 37,000 profiles of notable people around the globe. The website introduces itself as;
NNDB is an intelligence aggregator that tracks the activities of people we have determined to be noteworthy, both living and dead. Superficially, it seems much like a “Who’s Who” where a noted person’s curriculum vitae are available (the usual information such as date of birth, a biography, and other essential facts.)
The site also mentions charges of blackmailing, corruption on him and declares him a patient of diabetes and depression. He is the only one listed as blackmailer on the site while joined by many others on corruption list.
As per my knowledge constitution of Pakistan does not allow any ‘foreigner’ to contest elections or to be elected as PM or president of Pakistan. What can I call it a shock, conspiracy or truth? Until now there is no response from the Presidency on this issue.
The issue will give rise to speculations and conclusions along with some gossip material for Talk shows of this week but the question will remain who could authenticate the truth of this claim?

I strongly condemned the news on a website- Noteable Names Database (NNDB), which claims to contain details of over 35,000 prominent world personalities and describes Zardari as a US civilian of Asian/Indian race. The aim of the news was to make President. Zardari controversial and put the interests of Pakistan at stake. The role of the newspaper that put this news at front page is itself controversial. I am quoting some links that is clear prove of dubious role of this news paper group.

Furthermore If this website was looked at closely the journalist who filed the story would have known that on it the creator of Pakistan’s nuclear programme Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan had been called a spy. “The website also gave other wrong information about President Zardari and the same reporter who quoted the website filed a misleading story last year about lack of trust between Sanam Bhutto and President Zardari. These are clear evidences that it is just a part of propaganda campaign against President of Pakistan.

Zardari is president of Pakistan and hundred Percent retains the nationality of Pakistan. The campaign against Zardari is charismatic; it might be tomorrow Zardari is declared as Turk, UK or Iranian nation. In fact Jang and The news played bad game in this matter, NNDB website is not a reliable stuff. Any misinformation, allegation or conspiracy that relate to PPP leadership catch the eye of this platform team and they don’t loose a minute to promote prejudice and hate mongering against PPP. The Only focus of this group is an anti PPP drive and Pro-Rightist Agenda of PTI,JI and PMLN.It seems that all other parties and institutes are HOLY COW and all the worse is PPP.This is time for this forum to rethink their policies and try an effort to be judicious, impartial and balanced. Regarding nationality of Zardari , see how jang quoted this sites , so called reporter Azeem M Mian did not check credibility of data when he was checking list of other persons , how could he missed Nawaz shif’s occupation as “Head Of State”. This is enough how creditable website and reporter is.
