When the afghan war started in 1979, the Americans played on the most sensitive issue with the govt at that time. Mr Zia's obsession for the Islamization of Pakistan and fighting a Holy War. The game so cleverly played by the Americans that todate we consider our selves as the ones who brought down Russia (and make the world uni-polar..... but that is another story). At the same time, they got Iran involved in a war with Iraq, which they totally equipped and geared to keep Iran from interfering with their so called holy war with Russia via Pakistan. In 1988, when the Russians formally signed an agreement for withdrawal of forces from iraq, miraculously the Iran-Iraq war also ended. But by then Iraq was too strong to be ignored .. and VIOLA .. we had another war in the Middle east .. and this time Iraq against the Americans ... in just two years .... the country being equipped by the Americans against Iran was fighting against the very own providers ....... anyways ..... coming back to the point .. sorry about straying away from the whole issue. Gen Zia at that point in time had other ambitions, to turn this holy war towards India (kashmir). the americans did not like this idea, India being their future asian market, but Zia insisted and what happened ... he was replaced. Benazir came in with the lot of hopes for the Americans... but she failed at capping the nuclear progm of pakistan. She was replaced with supposedly an idiot ...Mr Sharif....... he too started doing things that the americans did not approve of .... mainly Pakistan's nuclear progm...... by then Benazir pleaded her case to the Americans to please be given another chance..... but she failed them again ..... and Mr Sharif being the only idiot leader present at that time ... was given yet another chance .... but he did the unthinkable ....... he detonated the bomb..... something that the americans simply could not forgive ..... so he was replaced too ... with a progressive - open minded .. mr Musharraf (more of pro american) ...... everything was going as planned ... but soon mr Musharraf also started seeing himself as the savior of Pakistan ....... he started eye balling the americans ..... .. the americans wanted a change in their strat in afghanistan .. something that the republicans wanted for their elections .. but Mr Musharraf had other ideas ....... please dont guess what has happened after that ..... he was removed .... but the problem was .... Benazir has been tried ... she is not dependable anymore .... sharif is a stupid idiot .. but the one who can make erratic decisions in his sheer stupidity ........ his brother is too smart to be trusted ...... what to do .. what to do ..... hmmm ... Remove benazir from life list ... people's part is always very pro american .... so bring in another idiot ... and who better to fill the slot than the man Zardari himself .... Moral of the story ... PPP govt is not soft ....... it is simply too damn susceptible to be lead the way the americans want us to be lead .... the evidence of the my theory .... is very simple ..... Just look around and see for yourself how boldly the Americans are simply having their way with us ever since this govt has taken form..... thank you for your patient reading ..
