PPP Plays Drama Over Nawaz Issue

Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has said that government will challenge the Lahore High Court (LHC) verdict, which disqualified PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif from contesting by-polls in the Supreme Court (SC). The minister for information Sherry Rehman has said that they are with the PML-N in misery and happiness.

Farhatullah Babar the spokesperson of the Pakistan People Party has said that come what may, they stand with the PML-N. Even Asif Ali Zardari has said that he is “shocked” to no bounds, and wants good wishes for his elder brother. The elder brother is astounded over the shock too, and the coalition is crumbling under the weight of these seamless yet obvious shenanigans.

The funny thing is that government remained unable to file the petition against the verdict of the Lahore High Court in the Supreme Court over some legalese. It seems that like restoration of judges, they intend to introduce some delay in the filing of petition to let the date of 26th June pass, when the by-elections are to be held and then scream for the sanctity of the coalition.

It’s time Nawaz Sharif should leave the PDA.
