Release Dr. Aafia Siddiqui

Power of Thought

There is an old saying in the rural Punjab, “Sochee paya tay bunda gaya” (If you start thinking, you are wasted). This really isnt mean that thinking is bad and you shouldnt be doing a little thaught process before doing something, but it means that you should not just start building the air castles and do nothing about them.

It means that “Just Do It”. Decide the course of action, and then go about it. Dont waste time worrying about the things. Dont frustrate yourself by worrying over details and unseen hurdles. Risks are where achievements are. Obstacles are where the door to glory opens.

Its beyond doubt that it is this thaught that propels a man to go forward, but its the same power which pulls him back or throw him deep in the chasm of despair and failure. The thinking process has got immense power. It can not only weave the dreams which make a person paragon, or it could turn those dreams into nightmares.

A person’s thaught marks his success or failure. To obtain success in every aspect of life, you have got to first make your thaught process smart and directed. A focussed and objective way of thinking always lift you and you become rational and justified in every decision you make and every course of action you pursue. Positve thinking not only benefits your whole life, but also your family and the whole society all in all.

Negative thinking is what demolishes the values and pillars of society. The tendency and prediliction towards frustration and self-pity and ultra-procastination always leads to inactivenss and passiveness, which ultimately pushes the society into gloom and into the corridors of unknown.
