Politeness towards one’s children
There are many people, or more precisely fathers, who give gifts to nieces and nephews but spending on their own children gives them digestion problems. Fathers talk with utmost politeness to other people’s children, but the moment they are inside the house they talk to their own children as though they are talking to dogs. It is as though one’s children are exempt from kindness.
Politeness should be for one’s own children before anyone else. Children also desire to be treated with the same politeness and respect that parents want from their children. In our society, parents demand respect. I have never been able to understand that concept. Be rude to children and then want them to respect you.
Parents don’t ever listen to their children’s views and force their own opinions down their children’s throats. Like it is going to work. Some parents want all their children to be the same without understanding that every human being is different.

majority of Pakistan is tolerant and peace loving. This needs to be brought up on the media so that the extremist are discourage too. The people of Pakistan want to live. No one wants to die. These militants are just gone crazy and they do child abuse.

@Hina Mir: There you go again with another irrelevant comment. This has nothing to do with the media or militants. The problem is that politeness towards one’s children is never preached in Jumuah Khutbas or by Tablighees. According to most people, children are parents’ slaves.
