Pervez Musharraf resigns as President of Pakistan

Pervez Musharraf ResignsAfter nine eight years and ten months of unlawful and illegal occupation, Pervez Musharraf has finally resigned as President of Pakistan. Good Riddance.

Pervez Musharraf, ex-Army Chief and former SSG Commando, surrendered his position to escape from impeachment

PPP, PML-N, ANP, JUI-F and other political parties have no right to give a safe passage to Pervez Musharraf. People of Pakistan have directly suffered from his adventures and only they should decide his fate. He should be taken to trial for selling Pakistanis to America, for desecration of Constitution and suspension of Judiciary, for Lal Masjid Massacre, Killing of Akbar Bugti, Assassination of Benazir Bhutto and situation of Balochistan and NWFP.

Let him be an example so that no other General shall ever try to take Pakistan for a ride.

I was shocked to hear when he uttered resignation. The earlier speech sounded like a eulogy and there wasn’t even a hint that he shall ever resign.

The next afew days shall be critical now. I hope better sense prevails in the echelons of power and they dont create another mess if this has passed by Allah’s grace.

The resignation means he shall be escorted to a safe place. I am doubtful that any trial proceedings are in the offing. There is NRO offcourse. Another important news would be restoration of judges as it was announced to take place after three days of president’s resignation.

    May Allah save our motherland!

“After nine years and ten months of unlawful and illegal occupation”: not correct. He would have completed nine years in October 2008, so he was chief executive/president for eight years and ten months.

Good news for Pakistan that musharaf left the scene. His period was worse ever faced by Pakistan. We as a nation are still facing the after shocks of ALL THOSE DICTATORS. Zia forced us in war of America and Russia and Musharaf polished those mistakes made by Zia. I tell you it will take us ages and decades to get out of this situation. My heart cries for this country, i love more than any thing else in this world (After God and Prophet).
