Peaceful Solution to War on Terror
According to the media sources, Following a peace accord singed by the government with the Tehrik-i-Taliban in Swat, 64 suspected militants were released from Timergara’s district jail.
The United States is ill at ease with the new government over the peace efforts. They are of the stern opinion that the the peace efforts carried out by the Pakistanis will give hard-liners time and space to plan more attacks. US policy makers want Pakistan to give no room or respite to the militants, and they don’t care about the suicide attacks and bomb blasts.
Admiral Mike Mullen, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff is not twisting the arms of the new government and asking them to strike with forces. In his bullet like visits he is telling the Pakistani authorities to not to have any peace dialogue with Talibans. He has also offered monetary and military support.
Where is our Shah Mehmood Qureshi, our foreign minister who always chew on every word and say that they strongly object on the foreign intervention?
