Peace in Swat
Swat is burning ferociously and the death toll is rising from both sides, and a severe fighting is going between Taliban and the security forces in the areas of Peuchar, Namal and Shawar areas of Matta and Taran, Shahdheri, Deolai, Akhun Kalay in Kabal and some parts of Charbagh.
Security forces are pounding at the hideouts of the Talibans in various areas, and civilian casualities are also occurring sadly, and its seems that this operation by the securty forces against the local Talibans of Swat who have got the support of the Baitullah Mehsud group from the North Waziristan is going to end not too soon, and this would create a great panic in other settled areas of the NWFP.
The city of Peshawar, the capital of NWFP, has also been put on the high alert and security forces are roaming the city day in and day out, and the Maulana Fazlullah of Swat is threatning of suicide attacks on the security forces and he has also warned the people to stay away from the security forces to stay safe.
The situation is very restive and very tense, and it is the need of hour to have a concerted effort on the part of the security forces to clear the area of the elements who are hampering the peace in the region.

You can’t deal with these militants. They’re only intersted in violence, so making any peace agreements with them is useless. The only language they understand is force.
