Release Dr. Aafia Siddiqui

Parachinar Attack and Quetta Violence

According to the television reports, some 35 people have killed in a apparently suicide attack in Parachinar area in Kuram Agency. It’s the NA-37 of tribal belt, and it was already declared a sensitive area by the security officials.

The blast occurred when allegedly a suicide bomber entered riding in his car into the election office of Riaz Hussain, and independent candidate. Mr. Riaz was also present in the office at the time of blast, but he remained safe, but some 35 people died and above 90 are injured.

In an other violent incident, the activists of All Parties Democratic Movement, the boycotting faction of Pakistani politics mainly consisting of small time political players and the nationalist parties, clashed with the police, when Police refused to allow them to hold a public meeting at Munnan Chowk, Quetta.

As the elections are drawing near, the tension is increasing, and it’s the need of hour that political parties and law enforcement agencies keep their cool, and all should work closely to ensure the security and safety. This is not the time of clashes, rather its the time of unity and harmony.

Enemy is recoiling to attack upon us.
