Package Game Continues
Asif Ali Zardari is trying to present himself, as some sort of tough man, who is not easily intimidated by the media or any other like his coalition partners, and he is posing that he is free in his will, nobody could dare to question him.
His stubborn stance on the reinstatement of the judiciary and his newly found love with President General (r) Pervez Musharraf and his recent appointment in the centers and in the Punjab tells a different story. He is sure on to something very fishy.
Now the reports are that PPP has changed the name of constitutional package, and they are calling it 18th Amendment, and this amendment has been prepared and has been sent to the President House. What a loyal creature Zardari has become, after becoming blessed by the National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO).
What sort of freedom judges would get and what sort of justice people of Pakistan would get from 18th Amendment approved by a dictator is anybody’s guess.
