Own Mother
Allama Muhammad Iqbal had both devotees and critics. People used to criticise parts of his poetry as well his conduct. Some used to criticise on face in his life.
A Sikh youth who was apparently fan of Allama Muhammad Iqbal’s poetry came to him and after showering a lot of praise said, “Why your message is restricted to the Muslims alone and is not universal.
Allama replied, “One should first take care of her own mother.”
