Now or Never
London African Association was planning an expedition to Africa. Choosing a leader to any expedition is an important task because the success for the most part depends upon him. Names of Yard and John Jaras were short listed for the task. Both explorers had fitting profiles and it became difficult for the organizer to give preference to one over the other.
It was decided that both should be interviewed. When can you start? Both were asked during the interviews. Yard replied, “tomorrow” whereas John responded to the same question, “Right now.”
John was selected as the leader of the expedition. He was not only given prizes but was also made Earl. Yard for saying tomorrow went on repenting.
