New Luxuries

According to the media reports, Defence Minister Chaudhary Ahmad Mukhtar and Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi have started using bulletproof SL-Class Mercedes-Benz SL600 luxurious vehicles for their official use ever since they have started going on their newly acquired jobs.

It’s a clear cut contradiction of the austerity lectures by the Prime Minister Makhdoom Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani. PM Yousuf Raza said that the ministers won’t be able to use vehicles bigger than the 1600cc. But then words in the fatherland never become practice.

The painfully funny thing is that Prime Minister himself dispatched these cars from the fleet of Prime Minister to the two ministers and these vehicles were sent before these two even took oath. These two were also contenders for the nomination for the PM, and perhaps that is what they have got in return.

Sorry to state, Brit style Jhamooriyat apnay Pakistan mein nahin chulti, this is for colder climes of Denmark and Norway or even Britland, but not here. Yahan chullay ga Dunda, Kum az Kum 50000 lotay have to be done Marsailles style. Beheaded, start with NS, Zardari (bewi ka Qatil), etc etc.. Such bollay wo nihal, such wey guru. nankana sahib zindabad.
