Negroponte and Boucher; No More Masters?
If you still do not believe that this is the changed Pakistan and you want to see the proof, then look at the resounding angry reaction of people throughout Pakistan over the United States interference in Pakistani affairs the day our new premier took oath.
US Deputy Secretary of State John Negroponte and Assistant Secretary of State Richard Boucher would also be amazed as how their donation-devouring nation has stood up in front of them. But they must know that this nation never ever wanted their donations and aids, and it never reached to them in first place. Rather it vanished somewhere at the top.
Now people are questioning Boucher and Negroponte repeated visits to Asif Ali Zardari, Mian Nawaz Sharif, Yousuf Raza Gillani and other Pakistani officials. This duo haven’t wasted a single day and is already at work by telling the new leadership, American orders.
These two now must realize that this is an altered Pakistan, and they should also convey this to their Bush. PM Yousuf too must not forget this.
