Nawaz Sharif Waits for Supreme Court
The PCO judges of high court and the supreme court must be laughing their heads out and thanking President General (r) Pervez Musharraf for handing over neck of Nawaz Sharif in their grip. Lots and lots of truthful acrimony has been spilled by Mian Nawaz Sharif, the chief of PML-N regarding the PCO judges, and now these judges are having their field day.
First the judges of Lahore High Court gave the verdict through which Nawaz Sharif, the two-time Prime Minister of Pakistan became ineligible to contest the election, and then Supreme Court has taken up the case on the plea of the federal government and now they are stretching it, and though they have adjourned the by-elections on 26th June, they will drag the matter to the apex, and also the holidays of the judges are just round the corner.
The level two leaders of PML-N are very much perplexed as what to do and they are giving out conflicting statements. Asif Ali Zardari has really made a fool of PML-N through his continuous grins, and now their chief is standing with very little options in hand. His popularity is rising, but he needs to change his strategy.
Remaining in coalition with Pakistan People’s Party is only harming PML-N pretty much badly.
