Nawaz Sharif: Bhutto Saviour?

While PML-Q leadership criticizes Nawaz Sharif for his sympathies with PPP and Chaudhry Pervez Elahi goes as far as calling PML-N ‘B’ team of PPP and advicing them to open PPP branch offices in Punjab, an interesting news item is published in local daily which highlights Nawaz Sharif’s heroic attempts to save Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto’s live in 1969.

This looks like a fabricated story. If this incident had happened, not only Nawaz but Bhutto would also have mentioned it. You can’t rely on such reports, particularly if they’re published in regional Urdu newspapers with very small circulations.

It really sounds unlikely. Why this story did not come up earlier anytime?????????
