Marchers Move Ahead
The Long March has started from the Souther Punjab’s biggest city, the city of Shrines and the Makhdooms, Multan and now it is hurtling towards the Data Ki Nugri Lahore, where it would hurtle towards the Islamabad, where Pervez Musharraf and his cronies and newly found allies PPP are trembling with fear and timidity.
The marchers have been given full reception at the Punjabi cities, and the in march there is a huge huge representation of the Sindhi and Balochi brethren, whereas the caravans from NWFP, Azad Kashmir and Northern Areas would join the caravan in Islamabad. This makes it a unique four province unity demonstration in the country, and it will have a lasting impact and very refreshing and change oriented effects.
Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhary’s name is being praised from Karachi to Khyber, while Musharraf is reviled in every nook of the country. The Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhary has become the favorite personality, while the Musharraf has become the most hateful. If parliament doesnt want to find itself with the likes of Musharraf then it has to support the Long March, instead of stopping it by force.
Zardari should leash the likes of Latif Khosa and Rehman Malik, and he may forget the blessings of NRO for couple of days, while the lawyers are in the Islamabad.
