Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi Supports Musharraf’s Safe Passage
Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that like the defense minister Ahmad Mukhtar, he too would like to see President General (r) Pervez Musharraf go out before impeachment, and the resignation would be the best option for that.
The foreign minister said the call for Musharraf’s resignation is unanimous and that even trade leaders in the Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce & Industry have written to President Musharraf to resign so that the economic instability could end.
Makhdoom Shah Mahmood and Ahmad Mukhtar along with some other PPP cabinet members have said that instead of impeaching and trying Musharraf according to the charge-sheet, he should be let out of the country secretly and safely and that’s for it.
PPP shouldn’t be making yet another deal with the dictator, and they must bring Musharraf to the justice.
