Magic is Kufr

It has come to my attention that some people think that if magic is practiced for a good purpose it is okay.

First of all there is no such thing as deriving good from magic. There is a lot of talk on the internet that white magic is okay since a person can do good with it. Magic, white or black, makes a person kafir immediately. Whether a person does it himself/herself or gets someone to do it for them does not make a difference. Also, magic has to be done with near impossible accuracy otherwise its effect gets reversed sometimes. Its not something to experiment with. It is not something cool. It is extremely dangerous. A person might get some stupid spell from someone and end up killing one of their family members.

A person who commits enormous sins such as drinking alcohol, murdering or taking/giving interest does not become a kafir since none of those things involve devil worship. A person who practices any form of magic or gets someone to do magic for them however, becomes a kafir since it involves devil worship.

Virgin Virgo, you do ask very silly questions! “White” magic is that which is practised by “white” men, while “black” magic is the kind practised by “black” men. I assume there is “brown” magic as well, practised in India, “yellow” magic in China and “red” magic, which could be a speciality of the “Red” Indians (who are not really red). In brief, all this talk about magic is “bakwas” (B.S., as the Americans would say). Anyone who believes in magic should have his head examined.
