Long March Has Ended: V-Day, not the D-Day
Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhary has been restored. Now the judiciary and parliament has to join hand and work for the rule of law. Now justice should be reached and make available easily and speedily to the doorstep of every citizen of Pakistan.
As soon as the news broke about the restitution of the Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhary, celebrations started. People belonging to all walks of life, from every where, most of them political workers, came out on the roads at 2am on Monday after hearing the news about the restoration of the deposed judges, including Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, who were sacked by former President Pervez Musharraf on November 3, 2007.
The restoration of Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhary has given lot of hope and confidence to the people of Pakistan. Pakistan’s stature has risen and things are seem to be going towards the right direction, so people like Fazlur Rehman and Altaf Hussain are trying to plummet the morale of the jubilant Pakistanis.
The restoration of judges is the victory of the media, political parties, people of the country, civil society and the lawyers’ community.

I believe judges are souls of the government. If the judicial system is restored, then Pakistan has a chance of acheiving it’s goals, and paying off it’s debt.
