Life Consultancy
In our day to day life, we used to consult the relevant experts on a pertinent issue. For example, if our computers gets out of order, we take it to the computer experts, or if our vehicle gets awry, we go to automobile mechanic, and likewise we take our things to the relevant experts. But when it comes to the most precious thing of us, we don’t go anywhere and just sulk or frustrate.
The most important thing eventually is our own life. I mean, Ok, in Pakistan we don’t have the consultancy culture especially when it comes to our own self. But why not? why don’t we go to experts or consultants and discuss ourselves and our problems? Yes, the term expert is very vague and fraught with the chances of scam. Yes the social taboos are there, and we are historically introverts, but then again why not change the things, and discuss our problems and issues, and relieve the burden and enjoy the life?
Our lives are getting heavy day by day. 24 hours are looking very limited to complete those unlimited tasks. Our day starts with the preparation for the office, then we spend daylight in the office, and come home when the sun sets, then many are doing part time jobs to meet the ends, and then there is the family. Weekends are very very busy to complete the chores, and there is no time for our own life. Our dairy, inbox, task-schedular are always full with the tasks, and more are piling up.
The never-ending hours doesn’t mean that productivity has increased. If you analyze the daily routine, you would come to know that you are producing the same amount of output, as before and chances are that your earning hasn’t also increased dramatically. Now your life is full with procrastination and distractions, and you are highly confused and worried.
Very little things, if you do, can really alter your life. Give you more time to enjoy your own life and family. Your frustration will recede and you will realize that you have got a life to live, and whatever you are doing is for your life. You are not living your life to work, but you are working to live. So live. Schedule your time. Don’t be lazy, don’t adopt ‘look busy do nothing’ approach. Time your tasks. Get your sleep. Be cool and reasonable. Don’t show anger.
Adopt ‘What the hell’ approach. Focus on quality rather than on quantity. Don’t be greedy. Don’t be in hassle. Don’t spend your late nights in front of TV. Read the blogs and quit playing those action-packed glamorous video games. Read a book in pillow time. Eliminate but essential tasks. Don’t let others rule you. Take joyous breaks. Enjoy the food. Change your menu. Give smiles.
Love Yourself.
To Dream, It’s the source of inspiration,
to laugh, It’s music for the soul,
to love, It’s the ultimate joy life can give,
to pray, It’s the key to everything good…
