KESC increasing Electricity prices by 28 paisa per unit
Karachi Electric Supply Corporation is increasing electricity prices by 28 paisa per unit. According to the report, MD KESC Lt. General (Retd.) Amjad has asked National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) to allow for a 5 per cent increase considering rising fuel costs.
Earlier, it was reported that KESC will increase electricity prices by 15 percent but KESC management had categorically denied that report.
Official notification is expected to be issued in few days time.
