KESC and CDGK Claimed Lives of Two Children in Karachi

In a recent act of criminal negligence by Karachi Electric Supply Corporation (KESC), two children have lost their lives in Karachi. According to news report, two children (aged 7 and 4 years) of Police ASI Aftab Ahmed Khan were playing near their home in Police Headquarters, Garden, when they fall into an open manhole. They were unable to spot the manhole because whole area was plunged in darkness, thanks to unscheduled loadshedding by KESC.

This is a case of severe criminal negligence on account of both KESC and CDGK. However, the ‘best mayor of world’ will not take any responsibility for this and KESC is already above the law.

May Allah (swt) make it easy for the parents who have lost two children in such a manner.

Meanwhile the Minister for Water and Power, Raja Pervaiz Asharf told a TV channel that loadshedding would be reduced to half in next 24 hours. He assured there will be no more unannounced power loadshedding across the country. He appealed to the customers to conserve energy in order to reduce the power deficits, thereby reducing loadshedding. He also appealed to the consumers to ensure that not even one light bulb is being unnecessarily used.

Nobody dared ask him how the ministers and government is saving electricity. Also, there is no official statement about the minister who used kundas to enlighten his son’s wedding.
