But the government (including the army) is KESC's biggest defaulter. Until the government clears KESC dues, KESC cannot pay anything to WAPDA and Karachi will be without power during the long summer months ahead. But what about dues of other electricity companies? How much do the electric supply companies in Lahore & Faisalabad owe WAPDA? Has the power supply to Lahore or Faisalabad ever been disconned on this account? It should be interesting to find out.
