Karachi Metroblog: Childish attempt to attract traffic!
Yesterday it was reported that Karachi Metroblog (KMB) is closing down as per the statement of Sean Bonner, Metblog co-founder. The move was apparently solidified by an author’s claim that he is unable to login. However, it turns out to be an April Fool prank (KMB justification here).
Karachi Metroblog is supposedly a serious blog as some of its authors are opinionating on current affairs, politics etc., both on KMB and on their personal blogs. This childish attempt to bring traffic on KMB has seriously affected the credibility of its authors and now people will always think twice before taking a piece posted on KMB at its face value.
